National Institute for Scuba Diving

The National Institute of Scuba Diving (NSID) in Lebanon is one of the most prestigious and leading diving schools in the country. Since its establishment over 30 years ago the NSID has built a reputation of safety, professionalism and leading edge training.

Located in the heart of Beirut, on the Solidere Marina , one of the best and most renown marina's in the region, NSID provides the quickest access to the best diving sites in Lebanon inclusing 'Shark Point', 'Sting Ray Reef', 'Anchor City', 'Riviera Caves', as well as famous shipwrecks around hte country that include 'The Lesbian', 'Macedonia', 'Alice B', and ofcourse the infamous 'HMS Victoria'.

The center operates 3 dive boats, Enterprise (31ft), Dive Trek (33ft) and the SS1 (20ft) all equipped with the latest safety and technology equipment including first aid kits, GPS systems, depth finders, emergency DAN oxygen tanks and VHF radios.

The NSID also offers Specialty and Private Charters which include wrecks, night diving, private training, and sun set cruises.

NSID offers a number of different courses for recreational, technical and rebreather courses. 11 different recreational courses and 13 different technical courses are mastered by NSID.
