Atlas Beach is sited in a natural ampitheatre, open along the seaside. There is more than 17000 metres of flat land at the widest point between the coast and the hills, so nearly no buildings around. Just nature.

The magnificent Atlas Beach, opened in early 1995, is a tourist feature between the main street and the sea, and allows year round swimming in a safe area, especially for families.
Please note that for the visitors of Atlas Beach parking is free, and doesn't cost anything.
Atlas Beach is the right place for sailing trips for scuba divers, snorkellers and some of the tourist boats.
The weather doesn't include a rainy season during the highseason (March thru Octobre), overall rainfall is usually under 1000mm a year. More than 8 hours sunshine a day is the average. There are no official weather figures for the Atlas Beach area.
Daily maximum temperatures peak just below 32 (Celsius) in March through Octobre, with maximums in June and July around 35. Minimums are around 24 in the hot season.
