Gauche Caviar is an upper scale establishment that is a restaurant and bar at the same time. Its furnishing is highly decorated and elegantly designed, adding to its upper market theme and ambiance. Its located in the middle of the busy Gemmayze and is highly popular with the 18-35yr old crowd.
Actually the name of Gauche Caviar is derived from the 19th Century which describes 'A person who subscribes to socialist ideals, yet does not feel the need to totally let go of their privileged lifestyle'. The Gauche Caviar movement was so popular that localized terms were adapted throughout the word including UK and America, such as 'Champagne Socialist' and 'Limousine Liberal'.
